Adam's Blue Foam Compound Pad 6inches remove imperfections and polish paint to perfection with Adam’s Compound and Blue Foam Pad. Adams Blue Compound Pad combines a closed-cell foam surface with a tapered, flat-face into one pad. The closed-cell foam has a rigid structure at first touch, but upon working the pad for a few passes, the pad begins to soften and refine your polishing experience. The stiffer start to your paint correction process will help to cut and remove scratches, oxidation, and hazing from the paint, however, as you continue to work the compound in your first step the foam begins to soften. By doing this, your compound can achieve a more effective working time and the larger diminishing abrasives can be refined further into a polish state. After the use of Adam’s Microfiber Cutting Pad, the surface can have a tendency to have a haze from the correction– this is normal as the microfiber will focus mainly on cutting, rather than polishing the surface to a fine finish. To remove and perfect your paint further, Adam’s Compound and a Blue Compound Pad are here to remove any hazing, minor defects, and elevate your gloss levels before proceeding to the next step in paint correction: Polishing. Adam’s Blue Foam Pad offers faster correction of swirls and scratches when compared to that of a White Foam Pad and is a crucial initial step in paint correction.The specially selected blue foam used in the construction of the Adam’s Blue Compound Pad mates up perfectly with the color coordinated Adam’s Blue Compound to make short work of swirls and scratches, while still finishing down extremely cleanly, leaving a defect-free surface. A unique pre-polymer closed-cell foam, the blue compounding face balances strong cutting power with fine finishing ability, making this our most versatile cutting and compounding pad.Featuring a high-grip Velcro backing for maximum adhesion and minimal pad slip, these pads will hold tighter to your machine reducing the chances of an errant pad or mid-polishing delamination in even the most extreme conditions. The flat-face generates an even disbursement of heat, and the tapered edge design provides stability that can withstand the rigors of today’s large orbit machines like the Adam’s Swirl Killer. To aid with cooling, plus reduce weight, each pad has a precision cut center hole that can also be used to aid in centering the pad on the backing plate.Color-coded to match Adam’s Blue Compound, this combo is designed with the user in mind. This Diminishing Abrasive Technology (DAT) allows users to start with a small amount of product and continue to have a finer, more precise polishing experience with each rotation of the polisher. This product is recommended for maximum results with our Swirl Killer Polishing system and should be used with a Blue Compound Pad, even when working on Single Stage/ Gel Coat finishes. Adam’s Compound is designed to remove 1500-2000 grit sanding marks and must be applied after your vehicle is washed, decontaminated, and clayed for a hassle-free experience.
